We were proud to co-host the International Education Networking Drinks at The Boulevard, Perth alongside our partners Insider Guides. The night was a networking event, which brought together partners from universities, the government and independent organisations that work together to contribute to the university student experience in Perth.
From the speeches from key industry leaders, to the amazing food and beverages, we recap our top 6 highlights from the night at The Boulevard.
1. Speeches and special guests
It was a pleasure to host key industry leaders and hear speeches from the Education Minister Sue Ellery, Phil Payne, the Executive Director of Study Perth, and James Martin, the Managing Director of Insider Guides.
We also heard from our very own General Manager, Tara, who talked about The Boulevard and our community.
Our awesome team at The Boulevard toured our partners around our building, showing them our rooms and communal spaces. Our partners loved seeing our range of different room types and were amazed by the communal spaces like our outdoor pool and rooftop cinema!
“I lost count how many times they would say “I wish I was still a student so I could live here”.” – Jack, Community Ambassador at The Boulevard, Perth
3. Partnering with Insider Guides and StudyPerth
This event was co-hosted by Insider Guides and The Student Housing Company. It was a fantastic opportunity to bring together the partners of both organisations, along with the team at Study Perth.
4. Our epic donut wall
It isn’t an event at The Boulevard, if we don’t have our epic donut wall! Our custom-made donut wall, which was originally created for Utopia Festival, was a crowd favourite and it’s safe to say the donuts didn’t last long!
“They all raved about the donut wall!” – Bec, Community Ambassador at The Boulevard, Perth
5. The view from Perth’s best rooftop
Our rooftop never fails to impress guests who come to The Boulevard! With 360 degree views of the city, our Level 23 rooftop was the perfect location to host the event and as always, we were treated to a beautiful Perth sunset.
6. Food and drink
To make the event even better, our team created these tasty cheese and snack boards, which looked almost as great as the views!
From the views to the speeches from the Education Minister and industry leaders, this event at The Boulevard had it all! It was a great night that showcased our brand new student accommodation and brought together those who work in the higher education industry.
