All our rooms and communal spaces at The Boulevard have been designed specifically to provide you with your best student experience. Located in Northbridge, you’ll be living in the cultural district of Perth and next to the city’s main shopping district. Students at The Boulevard are conveniently connected to all destinations and universities in the city with transport links around the corner and the Perth Central Train and Bus Station just a short walk away.

There’s plenty of parking at City Beach, so it’s the perfect place to drive to during a break in classes – with plenty of restaurants too, it’s the ideal place to head to for a picturesque lunch during some free time. There’s an expanse of grass and trees, as well as long stretches of sand. It’s quite a popular beach, so there’s always people to meet and places to be!

How do I get there?

City Beach is the closest beach to our brand new student accommodation in Perth, The Boulevard, a quick 20 minute drive or 40 minute bus ride away on the 81 bus.

Why the University of Western Australia is Perth’s highest ranked University

UWA or U-Dub as students like to call, is Perth’s oldest University, founded in 1911 and is the highest ranked in Western Australia. With nearly 20,000 students this University is ranked 91 in the QS World University Rankings.

How to get there?

UWA is only a bus ride away from our brand-new purpose-built student accommodation complex, The Boulevard. Take the 950 from Beaufort Street and it’ll take you right to the front of campus in about 20 minutes. If you like to cycle, by bike the University is only 20 minutes away too. Cycling is a great option for students living at The Boulevard as we offer plenty of secure bike storage areas, so you don’t need to worry about storing it!

Unique Features

UWA has over 5000 International students making the campus a culturally diverse community. UWA has had a lot of highly ranked graduates that include Jo Horgan, founder of Australia beauty store chain Mecca Cosmetica, Bob Hawke, former Prime Minister of Australia and Michael Malone founder of IINET. Your degree can truly take you anywhere. Ok, enough about its people. Did we mention UWA’s campus is one of the nicest looking campus’ in Australia? The University Square Launch Party: Top 10 Highlights

Last week The Student Housing Company brought together its students, staff and partners to celebrate the official opening of University Square and the launch of TSHC in Australia! Taking place at our brand new student accommodation building in Carlton, Melbourne, the evening was filled with tasty treats, live entertainment and surprises.

If you missed out on the night or couldn’t make it to celebrate with us don’t worry, because we’ve made a top 10 list of the highlights from the night to fill you in on all the details.

1. CAPI Drinks Bar

Our friends at CAPI Australia came along to help us serve up four very tasty mocktails. The mocktails menu was custom made for the University Square Launch Event and they were inspired by some of the countries our students come from around the world.

The mocktails were an absolute hit, and even though they were non-alcoholic, our partners enjoyed them just as much as the students!
